The Mandiri Young Entrepreneur (WMM) Program has been creating 50,000 Indonesia young Entrepreneur over the last 15 years since 2017. WMM focuses on business assistance, networking, catalyze market access, and banking/capital service.


MANDIRI SAHABATKU
Since 2011, Bank Mandiri has been encouraging 14.900 Indonesian Migrant Worker (PMI) to become entrepreneurs through Mandiri Sahabatku program. This program provides online and offline entrepreneurship workshop by inviting Indonesian Migrant Worker in 11 countries (i.e Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia) which emphasized in selected sector (automotive, salon, food). Bank Mandiri also offering micro/SME financing or branchless banking agent to PMI that running businesses in Indonesia.

RUMAH BUMN

Bank Mandiri has been established 22 Rumah BUMN (RB) that are located throughout Indonesia which encouraging 13.814 MSME (~90% woman) through a digital marketing workshop. Currently, more than 3 thousand MSMEs has been listed in Indonesia Top e-commerce and increase their Gross Annual Sales.
Bank Mandiri also encourages RB MSME products through national and international exhibitions such as Foreign Representative Office of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesia Creative Product Festival Exhibition in Malaysia, Indonesian Festival Exhibition in South Korea, Proud of Made in Indonesian Products, Dubai Expo 2020, London Coffee Festival 2021, Katumbiri Expo 2021, National Discount Festival, and RB Entrepreneur Week.

RICE MILLING UNIT
In order to achieve Sustainable Development Goals #1 (No Poverty), Bank Mandiri launched Rice Milling Unit (RMU) as Integrated Rice Processing Center in Pamarican and Kebumen Regencies. Currently RMU can absorb 10 thousand tons of rice production and contribute to an increase in the income of 9,000 farmers of Rp12.5 billion. In this program, Bank Mandiri through RMU Pamarican & Kebumen has disbursed Micro Financing / KUR to 4 thousand farmers and become National Barometer that involving 14 farmers community. RMU Progam in line with Government program to alleviating extreme poverty.
KREDIT USAHA RAKYAT (KUR)
Bank Mandiri provides KUR (People’s Business Credit) which is part of the government’s program to provide access to financing for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). KUR is given to business groups that are productive and eligible to receive loans but do not have additional collateral, or the additional collateral is not sufficient. Mandiri has succeeded in distributing the KUR program to reach 2.4 million people. The distribution of KUR/KUM aims to increase the competitive capacity of micro-entrepreneurs, encourage economic growth, absorb labor and reduce poverty.

KREDIT USAHA RAKYAT (KUR)
Bank Mandiri’s strategy to expand financial inclusion, especially for people who are not covered by the services of official financial institutions, is to provide branchless banking agents, or in OJK terms called LAKU PANDAI, Office less Financial Services in the Context of Financial Inclusion. Bank Mandiri has implemented Laku Pandai program nationally since 2016, with reference to OJK Regulation No. 19/POJK.03/2014 and OJK Circular No. 6/ SEOJK.03/2015. Their task is prioritized to deal with low-population areas such as suburbs and rural areas. To support branchless banking services, Bank Mandiri provided Mini ATM on EDIC to Mandiri Agen in a gradual manner. 163.687 Branchless banking agents or Mandiri agents are spread throughout Indonesia
The role of Mandiri Agen was critical for the community because they also acted as a means of distributing the government subsidies.
